Services and Celebrations in Church

Diptford Primary is a Church of England school with a family feel and nurturing ethos.  It is of the utmost importance to us that we serve our whole community, without exception or exclusion.  Our vision and values very much relate to who we are as a village school and to our Christian distinctiveness.

We are lucky to be situated very close to the church of St. Mary, opposite in fact.  This provides us with a lovely setting for some of our Collective Worship as well as festival gatherings, such as Harvest Festival, Easter and Christmas.  We are fortunate to have excellent links with Reverend David Sayle who regularly leads our Collective Worship in church and in school.  Rev. David also attends our festivals and celebrations and even takes part in some of our lessons!

Harvest 2020 ( during Covid restrictions)
Although we couldn't have our usual Harvest collective worship in church this year, we were still able to share the occasion with our parents and families online.  Here is a little taster with one of our Harvest prayers and Hawks singing an autumn classic.
